Under age students are welcome at Institut de Touraine.
Their host families will be acting in loco parentis and will therefore need the parents' or guardians' written permission if the minor:
- needs to be admitted to hospital
- wants to go out after dinner (subject to the parents' agreement).
Admission of a minor to a French hospital is subject to the express agreement of the persons under whose guardianship the minor is placed (usually the parents).
In case of medical emergency, this document must be in the possession of the family lodging the minor.
Minors may only go out after dinner if the parents or guardians expressly agree.
These documents can be downloaded and must be completed, signed and returned to the Institute by the legal guardian, clearly indicating the name of the host family.
