Students are required to take out medical insurance for their stay in Tours.

Students who are nationals of the European Community

They have a social security cover. They need to bring their social security card or an E111 form with them to France.

Students from outside the European Community

The type of insurance depends on your age and on the medical expenses cover you select.

• The students can take out a private insurance policy once they arrive in France.
   
• Or they can take out an insurance policy for their stay and their travel before they live their own country.

We also strongly recommend you take out a civil liability insurance policy, covering your liability for any damage caused to third parties during your stay.
