Definition
ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) is a student-focused system based on the workload required by the student to achieve programme goals defined in terms of required knowledge and skills.
How this system works at Institut de Touraine
Students having signed an educational undertaking are awarded a maximum of 2 points per week:
- 1 point for class work (attendance and marks),
- 0,5 point for self-study in the resource centre (library, multimedia library, computer-assisted teaching workshop),
- 0,5 point for completing a personal project outside the Institute.
Organization
- a briefing is organized at the beginning of the term,
- the student has to decide within a given period of time,
- the student makes a commitment by signing an agreement.
