The diplomatic representations of foreign countries send their students to Institut de Touraine as part of international overseas programmes in higher education.

An intensive language course, supplemented in certain cases with scientific or technical refresher courses, prepares their students for university admission in France (for undergraduate or graduate studies).

Furthermore, foreign embassies regularly send staff to attend Institute courses, apart from the overseas development programmes.
